How Does Fast Cash Advance Work?

When is the advance issued?

The FastCashADVANCE is approved when the IRS accepts the tax return with funds issued as a check printed out of your tax professional's office or loaded onto the Green Dot Card that was handed to you before you left your tax professional's office .within 24 hours of loan approval.

How do I know if I'm approved or denied?

If your FastCashADVANCE request is approved and you requested a check, your tax professional will contact you when your check is ready to be picked up at your tax professional's office.

If you requested a Green Dot card, and you opted-in to text message communications, Green Dot will notify you once money is loaded to your card. You may opt-in to email communications from the Green Dot website.

If you are not approved for a FastCashADVANCE you will be notified of the denial. Denied advances will not be reconsidered under any circumstance.

Fast Cash Advance is provided by First Century Bank, N.A., Member FDIC, not affiliated with TPG. Separate fees apply if the taxpayer selects a Refund Transfer. A Refund Transfer is not required for the Fast Cash Advance. Not all consumers will qualify for a loan or for the maximum loan amount.
