UPDATE: If you are filing before February 15th your refund may be delayed due to PATH Act and the IRS "Where's my Refund" will not be updated until a few days after February 15th. Get more info here.
Step 2 - Check with TPG
Once you have confirmed that your refund has been released by the IRS and you have selected a Refund Transfer from Santa Barbara TPG you may check the status of your Refund Transfer by visiting our website.

Optional Step - Check with Treasury Offset Program
If you checked the status of your refund from the IRS Where's my Refund? page and it says that your refund was sent to your bank, but TPG hasn't received and released your refund please be aware that the IRS may indicate funds are available days before they are released.
If this is your situation, call (800) 304-3107 to see if all or some of your refund is being collected through the Treasury Offset Program.

Send an email to TPG-CSsupport@greendotcorp.com and include the following four pieces of information which are required for us to provide assistance.
- Primary taxpayer's name - include first and last name
- Tax filing year - calendar year that you filed the tax return in question
- Last 4 digits of SSN - provide the last 4 digits of the primary taxpayer's Social Security Number
- Expected refund amount - include the expected refund amount for the tax filing in question
Once your request is received with all four pieces of information, your request will be routed to the appropriate department.
